Hi, I'm Tom Riggs. My Jobs here are the Digital Content Director. I help oversee our social media and websites for Toledo.
I'm Married and have a daughter, they are both the joy of my life. I am a graduate from the University of Toledo with a BA. Going back to school after having been away from it for a few years was a great experience. Football is my favorite sport. But I also like hockey, baseball, golf, and Boxing. I recommend that you go to a dirt track race at least once, especially Eldora in Rossburg Ohio near Dayton. I have 3 brothers and a cat named Lucy.

The Mudhens Among The Top Selling Brands In The Minors

MUD HENS IN TOP 25 FOR MiLB MERCHANDISE SALES
2012 Sales for Minor League Baseball Topped $54 Million
TOLEDO – The Toledo Mud Hens are among the top 25 best-selling brands for 2012 in MiLB Merchandise Sales. Minor League Baseball announced its national Licensing program, consisting of 160 clubs, had its best year since 2008. The league generated an estimated $54 million in sales last year, a 3.3 percent increase over 2011 and the third highest total since the program began in 1991.
“The Toledo Mud Hens are thrilled to be one of the top teams in Minor League Baseball fan wear sales again this year,” says Craig Katz, Director of Merchandise and Licensing. “Mud Hens fans are the best in Minor League Baseball and we are honored that across the county and around the world fans continue to show off their Mud Hens pride and fanwear.”
Rankings of the top teams are based on wholesale sales reported from January 1 to December 31, 2012.

The Mud Hens kick off a four game series tonight in Gwinnett before heading to Charlotte. The team returns home on May 31 to face the Louisville Bats.
