Inaugural NW Ohio Pizza Palooza - July 22 & 23

Over 10,000 guests are expected to vote for their favorite pizza vendors and enjoy fabulous musical entertainment and children's activities. Additionally, a media and corporate challenge pizza bake-off will be held on July 22nd in the early afternoon. Local Chefs and Business Leaders will be judging for bragging rights for the Corporate and Media Trophies. Media and Corporate judging finals are open to the public. Funds raised from the summer event benefit the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce and the Sylvania Area Joint Recreation District.
Newly renovated, Centennial Terrace is the premier venue to for an event of this caliber. Pizza vendors will be vying for the best Pizza Restaurant in Northwest Ohio. The Pizza Restaurants that are a part of the Pizza Palooza are Amie's - Mancino Pizza, Bennett's Pizza, Charlie's Pizza, Jet's Pizza, Jo-Jo's Pizzaria, Pizza Papalis of Toledo, and Vito's Pizza.
The entertainment schedule will include Boffo, and The Danger Brothers as the acts on Friday, July 22 and on July 23 Kentucky Chrome, Mas Fina, Scott Fish and the Distant Kousins with an appearance by Chris Shutters will be featured.
Tickets will be priced at $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children 5-12 and children under 5 will be free. Advance Tickets are available at Metamora State Bank and The Anderson's Market.
Children's activities will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 PM each day and will feature clowns, face painting and activities from Imagination Station and The Bouncee Thing.
