I know we have been extremely lazy lately when it comes to updating the blog portion of our website. The problem is part laziness, part short staffed(we are only a 2 man operation), and part just being frustrated by the process of uploading audio for those of you that miss the show or just can't get enough of the Odd Couple Sports Show(we spend most days in the studio until at least 1pm messing around with the stupid thing). In the coming days, weeks, and months we will try very vigilantly to keep this side of things update with our thoughts and news on the show.

 With March Madness right around the corner we will post our brackets so you can follow along at home and make fun of us when or brackets die a horrible fiery death. You can compete with us if you'd like just shoot us an email with your picks and we will announce how things are going after each day of the tournament. Sorry we don't have any prizes so you would be competing for pride and bragging rights.

 Also if you've been living under a rock or just haven't been able to check us out consistently then you missed the big news for the show... We will be broadcasting LIVE from Goodyear Arizona which happens to be the home of the Cleveland Indians Spring Training starting on March 5th and going the entire week. Throughout the course of the week we will try to bring on all of the big names in the Tribe's organization including some of your favorite players. If you would like to request anyone please feel free to email us at theoddcouplesports@hotmail.com. All 5 days of that week will be all about the Cleveland Indians as we will have the grunt work of watching them play in sunny Arizona and schmoozing with other members of the media from around the state of Ohio. 

And lastly I'm sure all of you are wondering how the final NFL pick ems shook out so here it goes... for the second straight year Adam won the Odd Couple Sports Show pick ems. Heading into Super Bowl XLVI Chris was behind by 2 games so to make it interesting we went double or nothing on the big game and picked the score to be a tie breaker if needed. Chris went against his better judgment and chose the New England Patriots with Tom Brady winning the MVP and the game by a score of 27-24. Since Adam was in the lead he let Chris pick who he wanted and was stuck with the other team so Adam had to pick the New York Giants(which he was fine with by the way) and went with Hakeem Nicks to win the MVP by a score of 27-13. Since the Giants won none of those other things mattered and Adam won the entire pick ems by 3 games. With this year's NFL and College Football pick ems Adam has won all 3 head to head matchups and is the ultimate authorita on all things for the Odd Couple Sports Show.

This maybe the last post for a while(hopefully not) but we will try to keep a journal of our travels to Goodyear starting next week. Thanks and take care and keep coming back for more....
